Lyft is looking for someone who wants to change the future of cities & transportation by joining the Brand Team as a Senior Manager of Regional Marketing. The Senior Manager of Regional Marketing oversees dispersed local marketing managers & their staff in the development of marketing strategy & its execution. He/Shewill work closely with marketing leadership & other functional marketing teams to support the roll-out of campaigns, programs & initiatives that drive brand & business metrics across channels & verticals. This person will lead the strategy for their assigned region, create solutions for challenges, identify opportunities to scale growth, as well as, lead & develop a team.


  • Manages the regions 4-7 Local Marketing Managers; Review/Discuss strategy, budget division, & ongoing wins & losses
  • Directs, implements & manages marketing programs across his/her region
  • Collaborates with senior leadership & business planning functions to establish strategic plans & objectives
  • Conveys a strong grasp of all marketing channels, strategic pillars, brand programs & measurement
  • Contributes to marketing best practices & develops programs for development of core marketing skills, management skills, & other relevant growth tracks for field marketing teams
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the organization's products, key business drivers, users, & market position
  • Communicates learnings, challenges & wins with other Senior Managers of Regional Marketing & other counterparts, looking to uncover opportunities to scale programs, improve processes, or create other efficiencies
  • Travels to all managed markets each quarter (estimate 1-2 trips per month)


  • 8+ years experience in marketing, ideally across multiple functions
  • Cross-functional collaborator -- youll need to influence & collaborate from afar
  • People management experience required; Preferably leading remote teams
  • Skilled in project management
  • Experience navigating a matrixed environment that demands cross functional work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment andproblem solve autonomously
  • Client-facing experience is ideal
  • Start-up experience would be a big plus
