As a Sales Development Representative at Synack, your goal is to find qualified opportunities within your defined territory. You will accomplish this by:

  • Generating appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting & lead activity management in an effort to qualify & market our solutions to potential customers
  • Working directly with demand generation/marketing to discover opportunities from leads, & set appointments from those leads
  • Using of strong selling & influencing skills to set up qualified meetings
  • Understanding the Synack Platform enough to provide high level introduction
  • Leveraging sales techniques learned at Synack to maximize customer interactions
  • Logging, tracking, & maintaining outbound activity in SFDC
  • Working closely with the sales team & attending customer meetings as required

Our ideal SDR will have:

  • Four year college degree or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience in SDR role
  • Fluent in French or German
  • Strong in-person, phone, & written customer communication skills
  • Must be able to interact & communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding cyber-security systems & their importance to customer business
  • Ability to make formal & informal presentations to clients
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments & shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
  • Strong PC skills required; knowledge of SFDC,, & DiscoverOrg
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, & be self-motivated
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
  • Interested in pursuing a career in sales/cyber-security
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, presentation, & relationship management skills
