About the role:

The Equity Compensation Associate is responsible for participating in the administration & maintenance of Oscar Equity Program & ensuring alignment with the companys compensation policies, procedures & programs.

You will report into the Equity Manager. This is hybrid role, & you will work part of the time in the New York office & part of the time working remotely. 


  • Assist in the administration & maintenance of Oscar Equity Program
  • Analyze equity issues, identify root cause of the issue & work on the resolution in partnership with other Oscar teams
  • Identify, implement & document efficient & effective equity processes
  • Ensure equity practices are aligned with existing policies & procedures
  • Audit equity payroll stock options & RSU transactions to ensure compliance with federal & state reporting & withholding requirements
  • Execute & maintain audit procedures for Shareworks equity system. Ensure data integrity in Shareworks system
  • Drafts equity related employee communication, FAQs & employee education materials 
  • Partner with internal teams (such as payroll, legal, PStrat, HR Operations), & third party vendors in coordinating equity activities
  • Supports the equity manager with the project management of equity systems implementation & testing
  • Works on special projects assigned 


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of working experience related to equity administration & compensation analysis
  • Experience working on projects that span across the organization
  • Strong excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong background in process improvements & operational efficiencies

Bonus points:

  • Federal & state taxation experience
  • Experience using Workday & Shareworks Systems
