VaynerMedia is a global creative & media agency built for the now. Born in social our work is now full service, simply loving big ideas that connect & create real change for our clients business. We are independently owned, founded in 2009 with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney & Mexico City. And were not too bad at what we do, with our work winning in Cannes Lions, the Clios, D&AD & The Webbies to name a few. 

Here in London we have huge ambitions. Weve doubled in size over the last year & broadened both our client list & the kind of work were doing for them. We have an incredible client list across UK, EMEA & Globally. Our ideas live & breathe in organic & paid social but also fully integrated campaigns including TVCs, radio, press, OOH (you name it were there). Our difference? The Role:

Were looking for an experienced New Business Manager to support the day to day running of New Business primarily for VaynerMedia London across our UK & EMEA business, and  also to help VaynerMedia Amsterdam, whilst we get that office up & running. VaynerMedia is fast paced & the same can be said for New Business. Your role will see you working closely with the Head of Client Partnerships (and the Managing Director) with the implementation of the New Business strategy. You will also be working closely with the Global New Business team, keeping them regularly updated but also collaborating with them on Global workstreams & pitches.  VaynerMedia globally works as a very close-knit group.

You will support with both inbound & outbound marketing, updating our Global new business CRM system, helping monitor the market, alert the wider leadership team & Global new business team re potential opportunities, & work closely with our PR & CP leads to update all relevant new business platforms, agency socials & intermediaries re client wins, breaking work etc.  You will help organise events & really drive our WOM & proactive prospect list.

Another key part of your role will be supporting the development of consistent materials such as case studies & up to date creds for the agencys pitch processes. You will be a real evangelist for the agency & be well versed in our products, services etc & be passionate about doing things the Vayner way. 

People are at the heart of everything we do & being able to build good relationships internally & with intermediaries & prospects will be key.

The task at hand:

  • Supporting the Head of Client Partnership with the delivery of the agencys annual new biz targets & plan.
  • Helping manage & develop the agency prospect list working closely with PR for prospect capture from events. 
  • Help with leads qualification for any inbound opportunities that come through either directly or through the Global team.
  • Responding to any initial requests & setting up follow up meetings when relevant in order to qualify any prospects.
  • Regularly update the leadership team re market opportunities, client movements, pitch alerts etc
  • Regularly collating & coordinating the information required for completing detailed RFIs & RFPs for review by the Head of Client Partnerships & wider leadership team.
  • Supporting the Head of Client Partnerships with the refinement & continued development of the internal new business processes for all stages of the pitch process from RFP/RFI, to chemistry & pitch.
  • Helping create an up to date bank of case studies & regularly updating our creds & supporting the PR team with awards entries. Also assisting in any event opportunities to target prospective clients alongside our PR team to help drive agency fame & continued awareness of the Vayner difference.
  • Updating our Global CRM system in order to track agency wins, losses & managing pitch budgets & costs & preparing reports for review for the Head of Client Partnerships re level of investments made. 
  • Helping manage the full pitch process including coordinating diaries, setting up kick off meetings, arranging the room, pitch theatre deck prep etc
  • Work closely with the head of delivery & finance business partner on all new business budgeting, scoping & resourcing for pitches.
  • Working closely with the Global New Business team, running weekly progress meetings & leaning on them for support when needed.
  • Being genuinely committed to DE&I of all kinds, shaping the client roster we work with & making sure our creds fully represent who we are as an agency.
  • Taking the driving seat & pushing the work forward, with a relentless focus on the details
  • Keep VaynerMedia values at the core, grow relationships, have fun & participate in VaynerMedia social engagement

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in new business development
  • Strong digital & social awareness & knowledge 
  • A passion for modern marketing vs. traditional models
  • Experience working in an agency in a similar industry
  • Excellent communications skills & an impressive attention to detail
  • Ability to write clear & concise copy with creativity & flair.
  • An autonomous worker who is proactive 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skill set
  • Ability to thrive & remain agile in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong self-awareness & people-management skills
  • A cool, calm & collected approach to problem-solving
