What youll do
As the Senior Director, Global HR Operations & Technology, you will have the opportunity to lead DoubleVerifys global HR operations & technology transformation, & redefine the existing strategy & operating model for HR processes, workflows, & systems. You will be accountable for the design, implementation, management, & optimization of HR processes & the rationalization of our HR tech stack (including the global implementation of a HRIS). This role requires a strategic thought leader with a hands-on approach, leading & facilitating the planning/execution of multiple HR functions; including critical short & long term projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, highly collaborative, accustomed to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment & has experience in designing efficient HR processes & operations. They would also have experience leading an organization through global transformation, a talent for analyzing complex data, & solving problems with data as justification & rationale.
This role is a people leader reporting to the VP, Talent Management, HR Operations & Technology. Your responsibilities will fall into these key areas:
Technical:
- Formulate & drive the long-term vision & the strategy for the HR Operations & Technology COE with a focus on employee experience, efficiencies, SLAs, reporting, & accuracy. Continually assess the departments long-term vision & short-term initiatives to ensure alignment with the organizations mission & goals.
- Disrupt status quo & identify process & compliance improvement opportunities. Responsible for process improvement, including evaluating existing systems & procedures, providing recommendations for changes & improvements, & implementing changes (there will be some immediate process improvement required with a focus on scaling & moving to a global operating model). Identify opportunities for automation & reduction of manual processes & partner with teams on implementation of solutions.
- Perform regular business process reviews to make ongoing suggestions & create action plans.
- Own & execute a vision to iterate on our already robust investments in talent systems. Establish a strategy for our HR tech stack.
- Project lead on global HR tech transformation & HRIS transition/implementation.
- Build & scale infrastructure to support global HRIS administration, on-boarding, off-boarding, & other important moments along the employee lifecycle.
- Drive the HR people analytics strategy & delivery. Analyze, design, & build new custom reports & dashboards relating to multiple objects & data transformations in partnership with in-house Business Intelligence team & HR peers.
- Advise the VP & CHRO on both strategic & tactical matters as needed.
- Own global, statutory compliance & SOX/public-ready/GDPR internal controls & processes for all people related matters. Ensures that all company related administrative forms, reports, processes, & audits are completed accurately, timely & in compliance with relevant local, state, federal & provincial regulations for audits & compliance.
- In partnership with HR Compliance lead, ensure compliance with Company policy, procedures & employment laws. Manages the administration of policies & procedures to ensure compliance with local, state & federal regulations & corporate policies.

- Ensure the HR Operations & Technology vision for success is tightly aligned with internal stakeholders such as Finance, IT, & Legal as well as Talent Acquisition, Talent Analytics & Rewards, & Talent Management teams.
- Ensure that effective relationships with appropriate internal partners (e.g., Payroll, finance, workforce management, Employment Law, Compliance, Property HR Leaders, etc.) & external vendors are established & leveraged to achieve stated objectives.
- Partner with IT Shared Services to support the development of best-in-class HR self-service for all employees.
- Partner with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence to ensure delivery against strategic business imperatives & deliver solutions to meet business needs.
- Lead cross functional projects that transcend reporting lines, geographies & departments.
- Use your global experience to lead and/or support the massive global expansion & footprint across the Americas, EMEA, & APAC.

- A proven background in managing an HR Operations function with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the fields of HR Systems, Technology & Operations.

- 5+ years of management experience instilling trust & credibility with your team while guiding, developing, coaching, & managing individual & team performance. Successful track record in leading, developing, motivating & retaining a team.
- A strategic thought leader with a hands-on approach that is ready & willing to get in the weeds & be a significant contributor to the work. Willing & capable of rolling up sleeves to get things done when necessary.
- A leader with experience implementing a wide range of creative & thoughtful talent operations & HR systems strategies & programs in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
- A leader with transformation & change management experience as a strategic lead is essential, including implementation of systems & processes on a global scale.
- An experienced leader who has implemented an HRIS, deployed manager self-service, & guarantees the efficiency of all HRIS functionality.
- A leader with demonstrated experience providing analysis from disparate systems & providing concise & meaningful stories through the data, strong attention to detail/analytical acumen, & is comfortable working with large sets of data & interpreting where necessary.
- A leader with strong project management, analytical, time management & prioritization skills.
- A growth mindset, expertly balancing necessary controls & processes with speed & simplicity.
- A leader with a strong work ethic that models a sense of urgency, curiosity, & desire to get things done.
- Demonstrated track record of partnering with executives, managers, & employees regarding change management & structured processes on a global level.
- A leader with excellent written & verbal communication, organizational & presentation skills, with innate ability to motivate & inspire teammates.
- A leader with a continuous improvement mindset. Looks for ways to improve & promote quality & demonstrates accuracy & thoroughness in work output & decisions
- A leader that has built & supported global talent teams in APAC & EMEA. Robust experience supporting a multi-country employee base.
- A leader with proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Workday & MacOS highly preferred.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$129,000 - $245,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, & recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
