Receiving Inspector (1st Shift, Tues - Sat)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers & profilometer
  • Approve or reject items & document inspection results as required
  • Perform documentation review & verification of certifications, specifications, & conformance to design requirements
  • Communicate with internal customers & suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies
  • Use electronic MRP system to route parts & components to proper departments

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of receiving, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Forklift & other related inventory equipment experience
  • Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
  • Experience detecting design & drawing flaws
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & specifications using ASME Y14.5
  • Experience with GD&T & use of metrology tools & gauges
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
  • Standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, & carrying are a part of this role
  • Ability to work all required shift hours, including overtime & weekends when needed
