  Job Description

Pluralsight is seeking a detail-oriented marketer with a strong events background to join our software company as a Corporate Events Manager. As a key contributor you will be responsible for the planning, marketing, budget tracking/reconciliation, & successful execution of customer-facing & internal corporate events that support the sales pipeline & bring the Pluralsight brand to the public. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll own:
  • Responsible for planning, production & execution of our twice yearly Author Summit in Salt Lake & London
  • A stake & voice in helping curate & produce our single largest customer event each year, Pluralsight LIVE.
  • Hotel Room management for all events- This includes attendee booking for user conference
  • Managing booking contracts for event venues
  • Managing all attendee communications for LIVE & LIVE Europe- Pre, during & post event. This will include but is not limited to newsletters, emails, push notifications, event surveys, etc.
  • Managing Employee Communications for events- Working with Director of Events & Director of Employee Comms to effectively craft messaging & instructions on how they can be involved.
  • Events are always evolving, there will be opportunities for growth & additional event management within the team.
Experience you'll need:
  • Minimum of 5 years Event experience at a high-tech company
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Experience leading cross functional groups in a fast paced environment
  • Large event budget creation & management
  • Knowledge of registration platform operation
  • Working with creative teams, product teams & other internal groups- leading cross functional teams
  • Communications writing experience
  • Survey module experience
  • Complete Google Cloud suite proficiency
