Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Manager, FP&A to provide critical business analytics & intelligence to fuel & sustain our lengthening roster of stores. In this position, youll play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth & cost reduction within our Retail operations, directly shaping the future of Warby Parker. Your work will be powered by your diligent analyses, robust forecasts, & complex strategic models, all of which youll develop & maintain. Youll regularly share insights & analysis with our Finance leadership team & executive leadership team. What youll do:

  • Develop dynamic financial models & compelling reports that track Retail business metrics & performance on a weekly, monthly, & quarterly basis
  • Provide integral support on key team deliverables, specifically annual budgeting, quarterly projections, & board meeting preparation
  • Monitor & drive labor & capital planning excellence for our growing Retail presence
  • Assess potential new store opportunities by examining market sales trends, quantifying the expected return on investment, & comparing existing locations with similar characteristics
  • Use your financial prowess & Excel expertise to develop & deliver thoughtful reporting to the FP&A team, stores, & other supporting departments
  • Provide analytical & strategic support for ad hoc analyses (focusing on the why more than the what)


Who you are:

  • Backed by 36 years in a highly analytical role at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank, and/or in a financial operating role within a fast-growing retail or consumer products company
  • An Excel & PowerPoint expert driven by results
  • An analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
  • A self-starter whos able to manage multiple assignments, take initiative, & work independently
  • A skilled & seasoned people manager (directly or indirectly) 
  • An excellent communicator who loves to share findings & actionable insights
  • Collaborative & excited to work with many different teams across the company
  • Passionate about retail & direct-to-consumer businesses
  • A firm believer in Warby Parkers social mission


Extra credit:

  • Experience with Looker or a similar data visualization tool
  • Familiarity with business & forecasting planning tools
