Teachable is on a mission to enable the transformative power of knowledge in our world.  Our online platform enables individuals & small businesses (our Creators”) to build, host & sell online courses & coaching.  (Examples of our Creators & their offerings can be found here, here & here.)  We generate revenue in two ways: (1) from monthly or annual subscription fees (SaaS) paid to us by our Creators for access to the platform; & (2) from transaction fees calculated as a percent of the value of courses & services sold by Creators through our platform.  We currently support over 40,000 Creators who have collectively sold over $1 billion in courses & coaching on Teachable.

We're looking for a Director of Growth & Acquisition, someone who is highly analytical, obsessed with metrics, & knows how to lead & scale a performance marketing function. You will be a critical leader within our Marketing department, responsible for generating leads, acquiring new customers, & converting those customers into profitable subscribers. You will define the strategic vision of paid & growth marketing, with direct responsibility for website conversion funnel & all paid channels (existing & new ones you identify as potential growth drivers), managing a substantial multi-million dollar budget, while continuously optimizing for CaC & LTV, as well as other metrics. You know how to collaborate across teams within marketing, as well as with product, sales & tech teams. 

The Director of Growth & Acquisition reports into the Vice President of Marketing & leads a growing team.
