YOUR ROLE:
As Associate Director of Project Management, you are the driving force behind client projects & internal solutions you are the one who knows how to make things happen. You are a strategic expert in execution & process from project initiation to delivery. You are passionate about this space from print, DM, & Digital to the web to gaming and mobile. You are creative, solutions-driven, organized, & have exceptional people skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive the planning & execution of simultaneous integrated projects
- Leads project direction collaborating with cross-functional teams to define & re-define project specifications (goals, budget, schedule, & scope)
- Collaborates with disciplines across the agency to deliver world-class work & meet client objectives
- Key client contact regarding project deliverables, progress, solutions, financials
- Lead & mentor Project Managers & Sr. Project Managers
- Author & review program SOWs & estimate documentation
- Maintain responsibility for the development & management of timelines, quality, & profit margins related to agency deliverables
- Resolve critical timeline issues & implications
- Build strong working relationships with internal team(s) as external partners & vendors
- Oversee internal account-related meetings including weekly producer/account status meetings, internal reviews, etc.
- Direct resource management against deliverables ensuring alignment against work & required times throughout the project lifecycle
- Risk management, proactively mitigating risks & comfortable driving solutions to adapt to changes from inception or project to delivery
- Drive project measurement, reporting, & analysis
- Evaluate & optimize production workflows & processes
- Proficient with programs such as Visio, Excel, PPT, & MS Project
- Experience with project management/workflow tools a plus
- Project documentation samples are required (SOW & Project Plan)
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 7+-9 years of industry experience producing & project management at a media, entertainment, or creative brand and/or interactive advertising agency
- Working knowledge & understanding of web technologies, including HTML, DHTML, Flash, XML, etc.
- Direct Marketing experience an advantage
- Possess an established track record of successful accomplishment with clients/teams
- Effective communication & presentation skills - capable of presenting solutions in a clear, logical manner
- Excellent negotiation skills
