Peloton is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to join our growing Production Ops team. In the next year Peloton will have two new state-of-the-art broadcast facilities in London & New York. The Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for supporting these facilities & maintaining the brand standard broadcast quality, as well as keeping an eye on the future for new technologies to implement. This is a growing role at Peloton & responsibilities will continue to expand as new content is developed.


  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & engineering updates at our New London Flagship Studios
  • Remote support for our New York Studio
  • Responsible for the continued function of all studio broadcast systems & facility LED walls
  • Keep changelogs on all systems
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, & updates with the Repair equipment in house where possible, coordinate with vendors for other issues
  • Coordinate with the Senior Director of Production Operations on new projects & installations
  • Learn Pelotons in-house Content Management Systems
  • Ability to solve problems in a team environment & while under pressure
  • Maintain network & system documentation
  • Work closely with operational & production staff day to day.
  • Set up & rigging of studio cameras, lighting & set.
  • Set up, repair & maintenance of studio, recording, editing & transmission equipment.
  • Quickly diagnose & implement fixes to maintain continuity of service.
  • Analyse fault trends & issues, establishing root causes & resolutions.
  • Proactively ensure that the facility is fit for purpose & maximise up time.
  • Source & maintain appropriate spare parts.
  • Source & maintain technical drawings & equipment documentation & configuration logs.
  • Design & build custom interfaces as required.
  • Prepare proposals & costs for developments & improvements.
  • Install & configure new equipment.
  • Perform acceptance testing to appropriate industry standards.
  • Be aware & comply with health & safety policies & procedures contributing advice as appropriate.
  • Ensure Studios are broadcast ready post studio reassignment

Essential skills & experience required:

  • Strong knowledge of video audio & lighting technologies in a studio environment
  • Strong electronics & IT skills
  • Creative problem solving often under pressure.
  • Excellent people skills


  • 4-year BS degree in Electrical Engineering, TV/Video Production or demonstrated equivalent
  • At least 5+ Years of Broadcast Engineering in a live environment whether its TV or Live Streaming
  • Must be knowledgeable in all areas of technical production & familiar with all studio production equipment including Content Management Systems, Broadcast Audio, Video & Control Systems, Video Servers, Storage Area Networks, & RF Systems, Editing & Post Production Systems, etc.
  • Understanding of Knowledge of existing SMPTE television standards with an eye towards SMTPE 2110
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
  • HND / Degree in TV technology discipline
    • Adequate colour vision & stereo hearing


  • Maintain checks of audio & video quality, as well as setting across all studios.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of control rooms & studios
  • Respond to emergencies as it relates to broadcast operations
  • Work with Production Techs to maintain list of ongoing issues & prioritize repairs
  • Work with 3rd party vendors & service providers for high-level repairs
  • Oversee installation of new systems & equipment
