What you will do:

The Product Marketing teams mission is to deliver the right product to the right audience using the right messaging. Were looking for a creative, analytical, & collaborative associate product marketing manager to bring thought leadership & subject matter expertise to the competitive landscape of our product suite.

As the Associate Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence for SecurityScorecard, youll be responsible for driving the product marketing teams ad-hoc competitive research to address timely priority questions that arise in the quickly changing landscape. The role will also be responsible for monitoring the competitive landscape, shaping our competitive positioning, & supporting cross-functional partners with critical insights & analysis into the product offerings of SecurityScorecards competitors.

SecurityScorecard is a quickly growing, exciting, & fast-paced environment & we are looking for someone who can be innovative, data-driven, & translate competitive intelligence into actionable insights & takeaways for sales.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Deep & ongoing competitive research & analysis, with a focus on delivery of accurate, timely, unbiased & contextual analysis as a subject matter expert.
  • Providing timely, actionable sales tools, training, & consultative engagement to serve the needs of the field (battlecards, data sheets, presentations, etc.) with defensible analysis/proof points, in close partnership with our Sales Enablement team. 
  • Focused research sprints to address ad-hoc competitive questions, including presenting actionable research insights to cross-functional partners. 
  • Develop & maintain defensible proof points & positioning of SecurityScorecards products & solutions..
  • Operate as a subject matter expert to product management, marketing, sales & executives to provide insight relative to the competitive landscape at a business & product level.
  • Manage our competitive intelligence tech stack & tools to properly integrate & enable sales to leverage them, including Crayon, Highspot, Gong, & Salesforce 
  • Working with field enablement & field success teams to establish take-out approaches as part of standard sales plays
  • Evangelizing competitive differentiation via marketing content such as blogs, webinars, presentations etc., & working with our Demand Generation team on competitive marketing campaigns


  • 2+ years of product marketing, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, consulting, market research, or investment banking experience
  • Experience in cybersecurity & understanding of the security industry, ecosystem, & buyers
  • Track record with a modern marketing mix; has presented to large groups including sales; is a confident communicator
  • Highly cross-functional, with the ability to partner with different teams across the company, especially with Sales
  • Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced & rapidly changing environment
  • Stand out verbal & written communication skills
  • Previous start-up experience is a huge plus
