The Investor Relations Director is the “number two” in the Investor Relations department & will play a key role in supporting the strategic planning, business development, coordination & execution of communication for all investor relations activities, strategies & initiatives. The role involves building & maintaining relationships with analysts & investors, & thoughtful contribution to investor facing materials & communications.
Work with SVP of IR & management team to thoughtfully craft investor materials & messaging.
Become a trusted resource for certain sell-side analysts & investors.
Regularly review & provide insights on analyst reports & models.
Assist & support the preparation of quarterly earnings deliverables, including press release, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, & ad hoc financial analyses.
Contribute & evolve the investor story through investor-facing materials including presentations & IR website content.
Help prepare reports & presentations for senior management & the Board on stock performance, institutional ownership, market perception, peer tracking, & financial research.
Oversee the planning, scheduling & related logistics as needed for investor conferences, investor meetings, office visits & roadshows. Participate/attend these meetings/events periodically.
Develop & manage investor targeting lists as needed.
Research, create, build & maintain financial models as needed.
Monitor & track stock activity, industry & market trends, & provide analyses & insights.
Monitor, assess, & communicate competitive & market information within the organization.
Oversee communications documents & briefing information for investor events.
Your Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, with at least eight years of related work experience.
At least five years of experience in investor relations or related field within the investment community.
Knowledge of software & healthcare industries.
Understanding of SEC regulations impacting communications.
Strong analytical & research skills.
Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
Outstanding presentation skills in public, group, & one-on-one forums.
Excellent interpersonal skills & collaborative work style.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Ability to quickly analyze & present strategic, corporate, & industry developments as they relate to MDSO.
Ability to interact, collaborate & communicate with cross-functional leadership teams.
Ability to engage in interesting dialog with investors, anticipates key issues, & frames discussion with company/brand message.
