We are seeking an exceptional individual for the role of Manager, Transfer Pricing Cost Accountant - reporting to the Director of Tax Reporting & Compliance. The individual will be responsible for preparing the corporate cost allocations & overseeing transfer pricing benchmarking studies of a growing group of domestic & international companies. This exciting role requires the ability to understand & manipulate large amounts of data, manage internal stakeholders & subsidiary finance teams. The role requires knowledge of US transfer pricing principles, the Pharmaceutical Life Sciences Industry, common cost allocation methodologies & be willing to gain familiarity with international transfer pricing developments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement processes for aggregating corporate direct & indirect costs that relate to support services provided to subsidiaries, allocating corporate costs consistent with transfer pricing principles, communicating & confirming cost allocations to be reported in tax returns accurately across the global group
  • Oversee preparation of annual transfer pricing benchmarking documentation
  • Monitor country by country requirements in the context of the Roivant Affiliated Group
  • Assist in transfer pricing related projects across the Roivant Affiliated Group
  • Understand functional build out for various entities across the group, develop an internal audit functionality to regularly assess the progress of a growing group of subsidiaries
  • Assist in brainstorming value drivers of new businesses & evaluate the key activities in developing new intellectual property


  • 6+ years of combined tax experience in Big 4 and/or a US multinational company
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Economics, Tax, Accounting, or related field
  • General Transfer Pricing experience in the US and/or European countries
  • Strong computer skills in data aggregation software & proven record for using technology to simplify repeating tasks
  • Experience with cross functional projects & managing multiple workstreams effectively
  • Excellent work ethic & willingness to learn & expand responsibilities
  • A strategic thinker with excellent business judgment
  • Highly motivated & willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once
  • Resourceful & relentless: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, & delivering results in challenging situations
  • Highly Innovative problem solver possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, project planning skills, & a demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ability to deal with complex problems & present recommendations & findings in a clear, concise format
  • Quick & scrappy learner who adapts well to a fast-moving environment & get things done, combines creativity, problem-solving skills, & a can-do attitude to overcome any obstacle
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
