YOUR ROLE:

The ideal candidate has mastered the AD core competencies & is comfortable leading in a digital-first, data centric integrated manner. You are an advisor & partner to the client at the Sr. manager & marketing/category director levels. You have developed a keen ability for managing client based multi-discipline projects across the agency matrix, cross-holding company partners, & external agency partners.  You have a natural curiosity, & are motivated by driving excellent results, time & time again.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding the essential dynamics, strategies, & drivers of the clients business particularly environment/industry
  • Being a liaison to multiple internal & external stakeholders to ensure integration across the business monitoring, projecting, & providing innovative solutions to marketing issues.
  • Demonstrating accountability for agency performance.
  • Demonstrating financial & commercial management of the businesses.
  • Understanding & navigating the Agency matrix & client matrix.
  • Ability to understand & manage details of a project initiative in the context of a larger business picture.
  • Facilitate the development of planning roadmaps, working with strategic planners & business leads.
  • Managing client expectations, objectives, timelines & budgets.
  • Acting as a resource to team members in assessing ideas & directions.
  • Leading an integrated agency model to ensure agency teams are aligned & working against shared goals.
  • Guiding internal/partner teams to deliver integrated solutions from strategy & concept, through to execution, while adequately representing client interests.
  • Growing, inspiring, & developing a career plan for direct reports & junior staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 8-10 years of account management experience required, with background in CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated solid mid to senior-level client experience & ability to navigate complex client organizations required.
  • Technical background preferred; experience in systems integration, cloud applications ideal.
  • Proven track record of exceptional business leadership skills.
  • Needs to be comfortable with ambiguity at times (both with clients & internally) be able to demonstrate flexibility & creative problem solving.
  • Needs to be collaborative, flexible team player who is easy to work with.
  • Need to be able to handle many different personalities both internally & externally.
  • Needs to have had experience in communications planning, & ability to articulate examples of strategic recommendations provided, or sold in to clients.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced & deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to work effectively & proactively within a team setting that is geographically dispersed.
  • Strong management skills to help identify & grow junior talent.
