Brand Strategist/Sales Director - Finance & Tech

Magnet Media is seeking a seasoned Sales Director/Strategist to lead our Tech Pod. This person will lead the strategy for the Tech Pod, staying ahead of industry trends, & will identify new prospects & cultivate current clients with strategic solutions utilizing our suite portfolio of products & services, including video, social media content & strategy, podcasts, events & more.

This person is highly driven to reach & exceed sales results. This person should have a rolodex of C-Level executives at Tech companies such as Adobe, Google & Microsoft.

Job Functions:

  • Responsible for driving revenue by strategically selling our suite of products to C Level Executives at Technology Companies.
  • Lead tactical & creative client meetings, adding customer value by bringing new ideas & solutions to the table, asking powerful questions & providing solutions. 
  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle, lead generation, sourcing opportunities, prospecting, ideation, selling & renewal. 
  • Brainstorm with the  creative team to translate brands marketing goals & objectives into actionable & measurable digital marketing, event & podcast programming. 
  • Understand marketplace trends, innovation, & competitive landscape & apply to the Pod Teams Strategy. 
  • Work with management to create a strategic roadmap for success on a quarterly & annual basis.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven success in Content/Social Media Sales
  • Established client-direct contacts in the Technology Category (brands like Google. Adobe, Microsoft) or the Finance Category (BofA, JPM, Citi)
  • Branded Content & Video sales experience are required
  • Experience presenting to senior clients & prospects
  • Excellent written & oral communication
  • Superior organization, prioritization, & presentation skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, tenacious drive, & enthusiastic attitude
  • Collaborative, respectful style, able to work with diverse team
  • Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product & demonstrate good follow up & follow through
