The Strategic Projects team was created in late 2020 to focus on critical cross-functional initiatives that span areas such as leading our global expansion enablement efforts, operationalizing key processes in our transition to a hybrid work model, supporting our COVID-19 Response efforts, along with strategic planning within the POPs team & supporting in the strategy development for the broader Company Pillar (POPs, Finance, Facilities, Business Technology & Legal). 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in POPs by formalizing our departments onboarding, engagement & knowledge management work streams over the next year. You will also own the Future of Work annual selection project & oversee the implementation of our Employee Experience strategy roadmap. Youll partner closely with leadership on regional & global initiatives, & help drive the vision, strategy, & roadmap for all of your projects.

What Youll Do 

  • Lead & own core projects from start to finish, facilitating kickoff meetings, scope discovery sessions, check-ins, retrospectives, & more
  • Support the ongoing iteration of & communication of the Employee Experience Strategy, & the development (and implementation) of annual roadmaps with working group
  • Set & implement POPs team enablement & engagement priorities, which includes content creation & developing programming in partnership with an internal committee
  • Lead Future of Work annual selection project & task force through enrollment, including ongoing process improvements & addressing open questions that may arise throughout the year
  • Create clear, concise internal communications & media to educate, address key questions & outline calls to action for internal audiences related to projects 
  • Develop into an authority on the goals & objectives of the work you oversee, acting as a proxy & verifying direction when working with POPs & Company Pillar partners, as needed
  • Foster & maintain collaborative, effective relationships with decision-makers, leaders & partners across People Operations & Company Pillar team 
  • Own the definition of success, & be accountable for influencing & partnering alongside cross-functional stakeholders to obtain results
  • Manage quarterly report out to POPs extended leadership team on progress on key team enablement & engagement initiatives 

Who You Are

  • Effective & persuasive communicator, both in writing & verbally, across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organization skills; experience maintaining detailed project plans, meeting deadlines, & proactively surfacing risks & issues
  • Skilled at managing through ambiguity & excellent problem solving skills
  • Capable project leader, skilled in driving team alignment, influencing, working in a highly collaborative team environment & bringing cross-functional teams together (and along) for the journey 
  • Understands how their (and the rest of the teams) projects fits into our larger strategy, & how to balance projects of varying levels of complexity using finite resources
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically & creatively, exercise judgment, & synthesize information to gain buy in & drive outcomes
