Job Description

TheBusiness Development Representativeplays an integral role as part of a Regional Sales Team that consists of Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers & Nexthink partners. TheBusiness Development Representativeis responsible for drivingnew opportunities & pipeline.
Your role

  • Create qualified opportunities through outbound calling
  • Qualify & convert incoming leads
  • Work closely with channel partners in lead generation activities
  • Campaign & event follow-up
  • Prospect at C-level, VP & Director levels
  • Profile & penetrate Key Accounts
  • Set-up qualified prospect appointments for sales
  • Effectively articulate the value of our solution to both technical & non-technical buyers
  • Maintain contact with leads on a regular basis
  • Create new incremental opportunities from existing customers
  • Manage & document the details of the sales cycle in Salesforce.com & other tools
  • Function: Sales
  • Level: Entry Level
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment
  • A demonstrable track record of exceeding targets
  • Understand the importance of IT to organizations
  • University degree in a business subject or relevant experience
  • Outbound calling experience in a corporate environment
  • Software sales experience desirable but Personality & Attitude is the most important
  • Experience of working with channel partners/resellers is desirable
  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Confident, outgoing personality who can drive pipeline activity over the phone
  • Ability to multitask & manage priorities
  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a team
  • Microsoft Office & Salesforce.com, desirable
  • May require travel on average up to 2-3 times per quarter
