Program & Change Manager

Nomis is looking for a dynamic, effective & hands-on program & change manager with drive, know-how, & diplomacy to manage complex internal & customer-facing initiatives. Reporting into the Head of Programs & Transformation, you will execute multiple initiatives, harmoniously on time & on budget while tactfully managing expectations.

  • Serve as hands-on project manager on internal & external initiatives of varying scope & complexity
  • Lead enterprise change initiatives by developing change strategy, defining tactics & executing them to satisfactory conclusion
  • Drive enterprise knowledge & content management in support of the organizations knowledge management strategy
  • Define, organize & facilitate mandatory enterprise training in partnership with various organizational groups
  • Lead the customer & internal Nomis teams through the execution of scope definition, requirements elicitation & capture, design, configuration, testing, & deployment
  • Establish & facilitate governance & adopt an appropriate communication paradigm based on the specific initiatives needs
  • Manage scope, timelines, budget, quality & risk from initiation, through planning, execution, to post-implementation support
  • Determine resource requirements, work cross-functionally to acquire resources; manage the matrix project team through delivery
  • Proactively identify, document & manage risks & issues to resolution
  • Document & communicate project decisions & project meetings
  • Facilitate impact analyses of changes to ongoing projects & operations
  • Perform project & operational portfolio management functions
  • Represent the enterprise programs & transformation office & the business unit in various internal & external settings
  • Collaborate within business unit & across the enterprise to identify & manage the project workload


  • 7 or more years of hands-on program/project experience & demonstrated success of driving complex programs over $5M to completion within budget & on time to the satisfaction of the sponsors
  • 5 or more years of experience driving change & knowledge management at an enterprise level
  • Experience defining training plans, designing curriculums as well as developing & delivering training would be useful
  • Experience defining content repositories & other stores of execution content
  • Demonstrable relevant work experience is critical
  • Experience in technology & financial services is preferred


  • Bachelors degree required. MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • Formal training in project or program management and/or PMP certification required
  • Formal training and/or certification in change management preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Personal Characteristics:

  • Advanced practical knowledge of project & program management principles
    • Ability to self-organize by setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress towards goals, & tracking details/data/information/activities
    • Solid expertise with project planning, scheduling & Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in cloud-based applications such as Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Visio & Tempus Resource would be beneficial
  • Advanced practical knowledge of change management best practices
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, & customer service skills
    • Strong interpersonal & organizational skills & the ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise
    • Ability to clearly communicate in discussions & written documents, & to deliver regular updates & feedback clearly & tactfully at all levels
    • Demonstrated track-record of exercising independent judgement, strategic thinking & problem solving in a complex environment
    • Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency & risks, & make clear decisions which are timely & in the best interests of the organization
    • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
