Reporting to the HR Director, this position will primarily provide recruitment support across the company. The right individual is a self-starter with the ability to balance professionalism & humor - as both are needed at Tommy John. We need an agile talent acquisition professional who can adapt to shifting industry demands & know how to utilize new recruitment tools in collaboration with reliable talent sourcing methods. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in our full cycle recruitment process - postings, scheduling, screening, & management of the ATS for HQ & Tommy John stores
  • Assist in diagnosing difficult job vacancies & use strategic skills to find the best recruitment approach to fill them
  • Analyze the current recruitment process & suggest areas for improvement or risk management
  • Collaborate with departmental hiring managers to find the best employees for our ever evolving & expanding company
  • Help to create detailed job descriptions & define appropriate compensations
  • Manage the legal complexities involved in the recruitment process
  • Help to maintain HRIS data/records for new & existing employees - Enter New Hire / Termination / Transfer Information & generate reports on an as needed basis
  • Contribute to the maintenance of Employee files (current & terminated)
  • Assist team with initiatives around Culture, Development, Reward, Recognition, & Retention related programs
  • Build relationships with the teams to implement strategies that meet the HR objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience; preferably in an apparel/fashion, retail or start-up environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PP, G Suite
  • Strong proficiency working with spreadsheets & databases
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees
  • Ability to multi-task & maintain strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
