JOB DETAILS

The Sasha Group is a digital agency that helps SMBs & ambitious companies grow. Our expertise in strategy, creative, photo & video production, & ad buying yields work that drives actual business results. We day-trade consumer attention, guiding our diverse clientele to focus on the platforms that command the attention of their specific customers, whom we captivate with the highly targeted videos & content we develop. With offices in New York, London, Los Angeles, & Chattanooga, TN, we market for the year we live in, we live & breathe emerging technology & we are always growing.

The Micro-Content Producer (MCP) is a hybrid role that bridges the worlds of creative, strategy, & community management. MCPs have a finger on the pulse of whats happening in the world, the strategic instinct to determine if & how whats happening is relevant to a brand & its audiences, & the ability to act as the voice of the brand across social platforms. The MCP reports to the Account Strategy leads, but collaborates closely with the Creative & Media teams.

Whats expected of an MCP:

  • Develop content calendars, work with a creative team to create content, & post content regularly to social platforms
  • Respond to community comments & questions based on brand guardrails & a brand voice
  • Proactively search for mentions, comments, & trends that might be relevant to the brands & communities they manage
  • Stay in tune with post performance based on both community engagement & paid media metrics, & using that information to determine whether content is a success
  • Provide regular updates & micro-briefs to the larger team on how we might take advantage of timely signals
  • Engage proactively with users on social media both in & outside of a brands community to connect on a 1:1 level & listen for signals
  • To be a practitioner & understand the nuances of different platforms (i.e., best practices, user behavior, & new opportunities.)

An awesome MCP is

  • Extremely comfortable writing copy & comments in a brands voice
  • Familiar with native social platform analytics tools
  • Able to navigate visual creation tools like Canva or Photoshop when needed (or willing to learn)
  • Naturally curious, inquisitive, & wants to learn everything possible about their brands audiences
  • Proactivetheyre quick to make educated assumptions & develop new hypotheses for the team
  • Cognizant that a single comment can be just important as a handful of likes
  • Interested in a diverse range of topics (i.e., Food, fashion, movies, television, music, tech, etc.)
  • Deeply in tune with the communities they manage
