About Us

Primary is a vertically integrated ecommerce brand that is changing how parents shop for kids clothes. We have our sights set on transforming the $30B kids clothing industry in the U.S. We are venture-backed, & building a team of superstars with significant experience across ecommerce, apparel, & technology. We launched mid-2015 to overwhelming press & customer response (82 NPS score), & are on our way to building a break-through brand that can be part of millions of people's lives. Our founders (both women!) were previously senior executives at Quidsi, the ecommerce company behind, which was acquired by Amazon for $545M.

We are looking for a creative strategist who loves connecting with new groups, unlocking new opportunities for growth, & tracking results.

You will
-Help tap into new channels for efficient customer acquisition
-Own & scale grassroots marketing initiatives. This includes managing & scaling our ambassador & influencer programs, catalyzing top Primary evangelists to share Primary with their networks, managing our schools program
-Finding & activating groups of new parents (e.g. via programs with hospitals, pediatricians, new mom networks etc.)
-Finding & activating passion groups (parents of kids with sensory sensitivities, DIY community, religious groups with specific clothing needs etc)
-Seeding product with targeted high-influence potential customers (e.g. professionals, influencers, & celebrities)
-Manage our affiliate program via Share a Sale
-Support PR efforts & eventsWork with a collaborative marketing & creative team to meet ambitious growth targets
-Track & measure results, analyzing cost per acquisition & early indicators of customer quality, to meet targets & guide decision-making on further allocation of marketing spend

You Must Have
-An excitement about the brand & an ability to share & inspire that passion in others
-A strong drive for results to help meet ambitious customer acquisition goals & track the quantitative success of programs
-Experience with grassroots marketing
-Demonstrated ability to be nimble, scrappy, & resourceful in a fast-paced environment
-A love of communication & a track record of successfully managing multiple workflows
-A quick & creative problem-solving mind
-A positive attitude & the ability to work effectively with a team with diverse backgrounds & abilities
-Detail-orientation & high degree of organizationBachelor's degree
