JOB DETAILS
 

The Credit & Collections Analyst handles drives high collections performance on the technology & professional services side of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct collection calls in order to drive high collections success
  • Coordinate & update collections cases when assigned to other teams at Namely
  • Maintain accurate credit & collection files & notes on each customer including accurate contact information on customers with escalation pathways
  • Coordinate review with all stakeholders on disputed items
  • Review & rank customers by risk of collectability & monitor high risk accounts
  • Escalate & manage accounts that move through legal and/or collections agency process
  • Monthly KPI report on key accounts receivable metrics such as DBT, DSO & develop strategic plans to optimize performance; weekly report of work plan for success
  • Support record keeping system for collections including application of customer payments
  • Support allowance for doubtful accounts assessment & other monthly close tasks
  • Research as requested by customer or internal department
  • Audit support
  • Collaborate with Treasury team on KYC & assess credit risk within the client portfolio
  • Collaborate with Treasury to optimize cash collection through various options (e.g. credit card payments, ACH, check, lockbox, etc)
  • Other project / responsibilities as requested

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related experience in a billing role
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Professional demeanor & strong motivation to meet deadlines
  • Extremely Detail Oriented, strong time management skills, ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills - both written & verbal
