Joining our Corporate Sales team based in our Paris HQ, you will be responsible for finding & closing new businesses across France. This will be done via your own efforts & supported by our marketing, partnerships & sales development teams.
You will be engaging with stakeholders within the customer to identify & secure a role for GoCardless as a payment provider. This will involve working with various departments, from finance & engineering to marketing & procurement; building a business case; securing a commercial arrangement; & ensuring a successful delivery. Our business model is aligned with the success of our customers: their success in getting paid links to our rewards.
Our customers are domestic & international companies who need to take recurring payments. In order to navigate a path to mutual success you will need to develop a good understanding of our solution, the business value, & technical fit & its relationship to our customers existing systems.

By evangelising GoCardless & recurring payments, you are able to get customers excited by our product.
- Closing multi-territory, multi-year deals with corporates/ enterprises
- Identifying a set of accounts that meet this criteria
- Developing account plans, working with stakeholders in marketing to deliver those plans & building your network within those accounts
- Selling the value of our global payments platform & then developing opportunities through negotiation & contract closure
- Strong commercial acumen & demonstrated ability to successfully navigate & influence within a complex business environment
- Hunting for new opportunities in a green field market & being overachiever in such context.
- Excellent communication & facilitation skills, consistent track record of building positive relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Adept at managing lengthy sales cycles (up to 12 months) at corporate/ enterprise level, maintaining a focus on keeping the deals on track.
- Distinctive problem-solving & project management skills, including experience executing complex strategic & operational initiatives.
- Experience in Technology/SaaS Sales or in Financial solution selling experience in a complimentary company offering a value add offering.

Here at GoCardless we value flexibility, & throughout the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic we've listened to our global GeeCees to gain a better understanding of the positives & negatives of working remotely (which we've been doing since March 2020).
Their feedback helped us develop our 'Adaptive Working' model, rolling out mid to late 2021. It's built around three components: days in the office, remote working, & enhanced environments. This means teams will be able to come into a GC office between one & three days per week for collaboration & teamwork, with the rest spent working remotely to enable a healthy work/life balance. Well also be reimagining our office environments so they enhance the collaboration & socialisation aspects our GeeCees told us they value most highly.
