We will commence our 2015 speaker series with an interesting talk by Hilary Mason , namely "A discussion of the evolving definition of data scientist". The event will begin at 6:30 to allow for mingling and socializing, and the talk will start at 7pm.

Hilary Mason is a Data Scientist in Residence at Accel, Scientist Emeritus at bitly, co-founder of HackNY, co-host of DataGotham, and member of NYCResistor. She was named one of Fast Companys 100 Most Creative People in Business and made the Forbes "40 under 40: Ones to Watch.
