Hearst Fashion Hackathon 2013

Saturday-Sunday, February 9-10, 2013

 

Wanna hack your way into NYC Fashion Week? Then join Hearst (Elle, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Marie Claire, etc) and AngelHack Events for the first ever Hearst Fashion Hackathon! Prizes include tickets to exclusive Fashion Week events, $10,000's in cash, and mentorship from Hearst to help you finish and promote your app.

The Hackathon runs through the night and you can expect a lot of toys, treats, and special guests to keep you on your toes. The focus will be on combining new fashion content with the latest mobile advancements and tools from our API partners. Bonus points if you can think of creatie ways to connect readers and editors in real-time.

Tickets are limited. We only have space for 150 of the most creative developers, designers, and fashionistas. We welcome enthusiasts from all levels of expertise, from corporate juggernauts to prominent young students. Show us your best fashion ideas and Hearst and friends will show you how to take things to the next level.

Interested Sponsors

We will be offering free sponsorships to select partners who fit well with this hackathon and offer a prize between $1,500-$5,000 to attendees. Interested compaines can apply here.   


Judges

The Hearst Fashion Hackathon will be judged by panel of Fashion media experts, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and tech celebrity judges.
