Augmented World Expo - the global stage for innovation in Augmented Reality, Wearables, and the Internet of Things is coming to New York City on March 25, 2014!

Some of the most notable names in AR and Wearable tech will showcase their latest innovations including Metaio, Augmate, Flyby, Vuzix, Deloitte, Daqri and more.

Exciting live demos and presentations by leading Smart Glasses, Wearables and Augmented Reality companies, Educational sessions and tutorials for developers and designers.

1-4pm is geared for developers. 5-9pm is for the general public and press.

AWE:NY is for developers, technologists and professionals eager to learn about emerging technologies that are making the physical world more interactive.

The event will take place in the beautiful Auditorium at NYU Poly university and will tap into the strong community of Augmented reality enthusiasts in NY and beyond, as well as top level press such as ABC, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, CNET, Newsweek, NY1.

The one day program will include tutorials, panels and presentations, as well as an exhibitors showcase for attendees to experience the demos first hand.

The tutorials (1-4pm) are geared for programmers and designers and intended to help get started with developing Augmented Reality experiences for wearables.

The sessions and panels (5-8:30pm) will cover the state of the union of the Augmented World from the business and technology perspectives, and highlight the latest innovations in smart glasses, Augmented Reality applications that solve business problems across multiple verticals such as government, education, training, enterprise, health, media and entertainment. A special panel will tackle some of the hard questions about the imminent impact of these technologies on our culture, privacy, and society as a whole.
