1. What is the elevator pitch for the company?  
CTFDC Creation & Technology for Fast Digital Communication.
2. Tell us more about the product / service. What problem are you solving?  
RacontR is the new powerful online software that build everything digital without code. It is the new SaaS : software AND service. It puts creatives at the centre of creation process, thus reducing production times and subliming digital contents. It disrupts the process of digital creation and communication : faster, stronger, better.
3. What inspired you to start the company?  
As a creative with solid tech skills, I was frustrated not to have a single solution to easily and quickly build interactive and multimedia digital content. I built a first version of RacontR in 2011 and have been constantly developing it with team since then.
4. What market are you targeting & how big is it? Who are the typical customers who would use your product?  
We target multinational corporates with significant digital communication needs. It is a multi billion $ market worldwide. We work in France for communication & HR departments of blue chip companies such as Total, EDF, Carrefour, Renault, etc.
5. How are you different from other companies in this space? What do you think is your competitive advantage?  
RacontR is already the future of digital communication : both an innovative software editor and an inspired creative community. Communication agencies (Publicis, Omnicom...), consulting groups (Accenture, EY…) and software editors (Adobe, Wix..) have all recently declared they want to become CreaTech. Which RacontR is from inception.
6. What is the business model? How do you plan to generate revenues?  
We sell licenses to companies that have good creatives inhouse and/or tailor-made projects designed with RacontR software by our creatives.
7. Tell us more about the founding team and their background.  
Originally trained as an art director, I have always been passionate about digital. From UX to motion design I always loved arranging pixels. After studying in Paris, I created the WiseCompany an agency in the Mexican Caribbean and started to learn coding. I came to Paris in 2007 where I started a Design Collective with 4 other graphic designs working for news media, reporters and fashion trade shows. I creates RacontR in 2011 with a first version of our storytelling solution.
8. Where is the company located? Are you bootstrapped or funded? If funded, who are some of your investors?  
Our company is based in Paris France. We are almost bootstrapped and self-financed our R&D with revenues from our clients. We raised less than 1 m$ in 5 years. Our investors are reputed French leaders and entrepreneurs, such Jean Claude Larreche, major professor of marketing and strategy at INSEAD, author of the Momentum Effect.
9. What are the next steps for the company in the next 12-18 months? And who would you like to connect with?  
We are skyrocketing in France. In early 2018, we will open subsidiaries and start operations in New York and London, then in the rest of Europe. We would love to connect to communication directors of large corporates and NGO (we offer them our service at cost), communities of creatives and freelance designers, smart VCs expert in SaaS B2B.
