Telling the Story of “Why”
Wednesday, December 19, from 8:00-9:30 pm
Michael Marantz, founder, Already Alive
Start-ups are on the rise, especially in the tech sector, but how do you market your brand and your product in a way that stands out? How do you get noticed? You have a great product, and you are trying to sell it, but you need to foster a deep emotional connection with your consumer. You need to tell the story of why — not just what your product is or how it works but why your company exists. The best brands do this (Apple, Nike, Red Bull) and this class will be an introduction on how to start thinking this way.
Student Takeaways:
Every student will walk away understanding how some of the biggest brands have such a loyal following.
An understanding of the power of answering the question of 'why' for a company.
A deep look into new marketing/advertising trends and examples of great campaigns that students can reference.
