Charlie is a life-long entrepreneur and seasoned investor known for his expertise in advising and investing in digital media, advertising technology and software companies. He is a Partner with NYC-based Revel Partners, an early-expansion stage investment group focused on financing disruptive innovation in digital media and Internet technology, where he has recently led investments in Tracx and MediaBrix.

Before helping launch Revel in early 2011, Charlie was a Principal with Steelpoint Capital Partners, a media and technology growth equity firm. During his six years at Steelpoint, he led or participated in numerous successful investments in digital media, software, communications and consumer products including AdSpace Networks, Atempo (acq), Boingo Wireless (IPO), Jitterbug, PacStar Communications, PrivaSys, Promptu, SeaMobile, Topica, Women’s Marketing and WorkShare. During his tenure at Steelpoint, Charlie served as an active board member or board observer with each of the firm’s investments.

Charlie has also worked with Darby Overseas Investments, the global private equity firm with over $1 billion in capital under management led by former U.S. Treasury Secretary Nicholas Brady. At Darby, he helped launch an early-stage venture fund focused on Latin America, where he was involved in the firm’s investments in Certisign, Inova and Spring Wireless. Charlie began his career as a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Chicago-based KMF, a digital media agency addressing intranet design and e-commerce system integration.
