Seeking dynamic and driven entrepreneur who can combine attention to the fast growth of an internet business with the passion of a larger purpose. MISSION.tv is a new digital channel for making a difference in the world. We will produce premium content (articles, video) about humanitarian issues and travel, and connect audiences with nonprofits and volunteer travel opportunities (see www.MISSION.tv for prelaunch site).
Candidate should have strong business skills, an ability to focus on all business and technology areas of the company. Should be familiar with the strategy of lean start-up, excited about a business driven by metrics and market feedback.
Focus will be on customer development/market validation, overall business management, technology and digital marketing, raising capital (angel investors, VC, impact investors), and networking with start-up and tech communities. MBA and/or previous start-up experience a plus.
